At the moment there are a minimum of two spots up for grabs in Monday's qualifier but it could be as many as five. I think it depends on the mini order of merit the Australian girls have. The final tournament in that finishes on Sunday and then, if there are any more spots available, they will tell us on Monday morning.
Weather is great in Australia. I've been in Melbourne all week preparing for the qualifier. I've been able to do some good work so I'm looking forward to Monday. Kylie (Walker) is not now having to play in the qualifier. She has been called up off the reserve list into the field for the Australian Women's Open, even though her name still appears in the pre-qualifying draw on the tournament website.
Lynn (Kenny) will be playing on Monday unless she gets in over the weekend. She is 1st reserve.
