DICKSON AND GODSMAN MAKE TOP 25 AT WEXFORD INTERCOLLEGE
Mark Dickson from Edinburgh and Kyle Godsman from Hopeman, Morayshire - both students at the University of South Carolina-Aiken (USCA) - finished joint 17th and 24th respectively in a field of 75 at this week's Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate tournament at Wexford Plantation Golf Club, Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Dickson had rounds of 74, 79 and 72 over the par-72 course of 6,828yd, for a total of 225.
Godsman scored 77, 76 and 74 for 227.
A third Scot, Andrew Weir from Montrose, a student at Francis Marion University, Florence in South Carolina, had rounds of 84, 83 and 85 for 252.
Winner by seven shots was Brant Peaper (Indiana University) with rounds of 72, 71 and 70 for a total of three-under-par 213.
indiana (877) won the team title ahead of William and Mary College (889). USCA finished fifth on 899.
