LIZZI AND LOUISE HELP TEAMS TO 3rd-4th FINISH IN SOUTH CAROLINA

Lincolnshire's Lizzi Over, pictured top right, helped Barry Universty, Florida finish third and Louise McGillivray, a freshman sudent at Carson-Newman College, Tennessee, helped her squad, the Lady Eagles, finish fourth in the Newberry College Invitational at Moss Creek Golf Course in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Lizzi had rounds of 88 and 84 for a total of 172 to earn a share of 24th place.
Louise, pictured lower right, scored 85 and 91 to finish 35th on 176. Incidentally, all her friends shivering in the
cold of the North-east of Scotland winter will be interested to know she played in shorts and a polo shirt during this tournament!
UNC Pembroke won the team title by 11 strokes with a total of 637. Hosts Newberry College claimed second with 648.

Barry University (662) finished third and Carson-Newman College (684) fourth in a field of 12 teams. UNC Pembroke's Katja Dammann fired rounds of 77 and 76  to claim the individual title with a two-round total of 153 (+5). She finished five shots ahead of Barbara Castro (Newberry) (79-79).
