SUSSEX STUDENT JOINT THIRD AT PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA

Jamie Chapman, a sophomore (second-year) student from Sussex at Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate in Tennessee, finished joint third with a three over par round of 75 in the 18-hole Outback Steakhouse Intercollegiate tournament at Hombre Golf Club, Panama City, Florida this week.
Winner over the par-72 course with a yardage of 6,541 was Christian Humber (Central Alabama CC) wi8th a 73. He won by a shot from Greg Mergel (Flagler) with Chapman and Lincoln Memorial team-mate Eric Kennedy joint third.
Flagler Colelge (307) won the title title by a single shot from Flagler College with Central Alabama CC (308) third and Lincoln Memorial (310) third of 15 teams.
