ABERDEEN v STIRLING FOR SCOTTISH UNIVERSITIES' MEN'S TITLE

It's Aberdeen University against Stirling University for the Scottish universities men's team golf championship at Moray Golf Club's Lossiemouth links tomorrow.
Aberdeen cut down Thursday's giant-killers UHI, who beat Heriot Watt in the quarter-finals, to size with a 10 1/2-4 1/2 victory in the semi-finals.
The Dons, who had edged past Edinburgh 8-7 to reach the last four, took the foursomes 3 1/2-1 /2 and the singles 7-3 for a comprehensive win but they will still be the underdogs against favourites Stirling in the final.
Stirling, multi-winners of the title, had a bye into the last four and crushed their arch-rivals St Andrews 10-5.
Stirling took a 2pt lead from the morning foursomes (3 1/2-1 1/2) and added another 3pt to it in the singles (6 1/2-3 1/2).
