CHRIS ROBB JUST OUTSIDE TOP 30 IN PALMETTO INVITATIONAL

Former Scottish schoolboys champion Chris Robb from Banchory, a second-year student at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, finished joint 32nd in a field of 90 players for this week's Palmetto Invitational men's college golf tournament at Palmetto Golf Club, Aiken in South Carolina earlier this week.
Chris, pictured, had rounds of 75, 76 and 71 for a 12-over-par total fo 222 over a par-70 course (6,617yd).
Mark Dickson from Edinburgh, a student at the University of South Carolina-Aiken, finished joint 6th on 228 with scores of 77, 72 and 79.
Andrew Weir from Montrose, a student a Francis Marion University, Florence in South Carolina, tied for 79th place on 235 with scores of 82, 75 and 78.
Kyle Godsman from Lossiemouth, a student at the University of South Carolina-Aiken, finished 89th with scores of 80, 81 and 84 for 245.

Winner by five shots was world-ranked American amateur Bud Cauley (Alabama University) with scores of 66, 66 and 69 for nine-under 201.
Cauley spearheaded Alabama to victory in the team event by 11 shots from runners-up Virginia (860) with Tennessee-Chattanooga joint fourth on 866. USCA shared ninth place on 885 while Francis Marion University (926) finished last of 18 teams.
TISDALE AND HISCOCK MAKE TOP 20 AT TURKEY CREEK, KANSAS
James Tisdale from Liverpool, a student at Bethany College, Kansas, finished a creditable fifth in a field of 66 players at the Swede Spring Invitational men's college tournament at Turkey Creek Golf Club, Kansas.
James scored 71 and 77 for a final total of 149 over the par-71, 6,100yd course.
Team-mate Jack Hiscock from Swindon shared 14th place with scores of 77 and 78 for 155.
Winner was Lance Lawson (Iowa Western Community College) with two good, low scores of 69 and 70 for three-under-par 139. Not surprIsingly, he won by six strokes and his college won the team event by seven shots from Southwestern College with Bethany College third of nine teams.
TOM GAMBLE, CONNOR O'DELL FOURTH AND FIFTH IN FLORIDA
Webber International University, Florida students dominated the Warner Inviational men's college 36-hole tournament at River Greens, Avon Park in Florida.
Tom Gamble from Walton on Thames and Connor O'Dell from Taunton, both Webber International students, finished fourth and joint fifth respectively in a field of 55 players. Gamble scored 71 and 74 for 146, one bet4tere than O'Dell who had rounds of 72 and 74.
Two other Webber International players, Jens Johansson and Greg Hughes, finished first and second on 140 and 141 respectively. Johansson scored 73 and 67, Hughes 72 and 69.
Webber International won the team title by 27 shots from Warner University in a field of six teams.
TRANSFERRED McGEE'S TOP 10 FINISH AT PUERTO RICO
Ulsterman Garth McGee from Bangor, near Belfast and a transfer this college year from East Tennessee State University to Old Dominion University, Norfolk in Virginia, tied for ninth place in a field of 75 players at the Caribbean Intercollegiate men's tournament at Costa Caribe Resort, Puerto Rico.
Second-year student McGee, pictured, scored 73, 73 and 69 for 215 over a par-72 course of 6,888yd.
On the same mark was Jack Bartlett from Worthing, a student at Nova Southeastern University, with rounds of 73, 73 and 69.
Three further Old Dominion students, Sam Wall from Essex, Tom Wilde from Berkshire and Neil Henderson from North Berwick finished joint 19th, jt 21st and jt 24th respecitvely. Wall totalled 217 with scores of 74, 69 and 74. Wilde scored 75, 70 and 73 for 218 while Henderon totalled 219 with scores of 75, 71 and 73.
Mitch Farrer (Nova Southeastern), from West Sussex, finished joint 46th on 229 with scores of 76, 78 and 75.
Adam Goins (University of South Carolina Upstate) was the individual winner on seven-under 209 with scores of 69, 67 and 73.
USC Upstate (847) won the team title ahead of Johnson and Webber, Florida (857) with Nova Southeastern (858) third and Old Dominion joint fourth on 868 in a field of 11 tams.
