DANIEL AND JANE TOP STUDENTS' CLASS AT DUNDONALD LINKS

Dundee University's Daniel Sommerville and Jane Turner (Robert Gordon's University, Aberdeen) topped the men's and women's returns in the Scottish Universities' third Order of Merit stroke-play tournament at Dundonald Links, Ayrshire.
Sommerville, pictured right, who has had experience of the US college golf circuit, had rounds of 72, 71 and 72 for a total of one-under-par 215 and a one-stroke win from David Booth (Stirling University) with another Stirling student, Bobby Rushford third on 222.

Craigielaw Golf Club member Jane Turner, pictured left, from Penicuik shot 75, 80 and 78 for a total of 233 and a notable four-shot win from Scottish champion Kelsey MacDonald (Stirling University). Two St Andrews students, Ashley Smith and Welsh international Gemma Bradbury, shared third place on 243.
