All three Scots in the field for the Spanish international women's amateur championship are in danger of failing to qualify for the match-play stages of the event at Sherry Golf, Jerez. Only 32 go forward from the 36-hole stroke-play eliminator.
Scottish champion Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar) is sharing 41st place after a first-round 79.
Alyson McKechin (Elderslie) and Rachael Watton (Mortonhall) are in joint 59th position on the 81 mark.
