WASH-OUT FOR SCOTS GIRLS IN FRANCE
The opening day's play in the Ladies European Tour's Access Series event, the Terre Blanche Ladies Open, in southern France, was washed out today. It has rained solidly for two days at Terre Blanche Golf Club and the course is waterlogged. The scheduled 54-hole tournament has been cut to two rounds with no cut but there must be some doubt about the course being playable by the end of the week. There are four Scots in the field - Heather MacRae (Downfield), Glasgow's Gemma Webster, Pamela Feggans from Patna, Ayrshire, and Majorca-based amateur Lauren Macklin. |
