LGU SELECTORS IN ATTANCE AT SLGA U16S OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
The Ladies Golf Union's GB and I Selection Committee will in attendance at the SLGA Under-16s' open stroke-play championship over the next two days at Strathmore Golf Centre.
They are taking the opportunity to view all the up and coming talent and to view some of the players who may be in the frame for the GB & I Under-16s team of six to play against Europe at Royal Porthcawl in June.
Susan Simpson, the LGU's Head of Golf Operations, told Kirkwoodgolf:
"If any players or parents wish any advice, they are welcome to talk with the selectors at any time at Strathmore Golf Centre. The Selection Committee will pick the GB and I Vagliano Teams (Senior and Junior) on Saturday, May 28".
