Lizi Sweetnam finishes 4th for Arkansas State
Arkansas Tech Women’s Golf team took home its third tournament title of the spring season at the Natural State Golf Classic held at the Red Apple Inn and Country Club, Heber Springs, Arkansas finishing first among 11 teams.
Leading the way for the Golden Suns was sophomore Elizabeth Sweetnam (Leighton Buzzard GC, England), who carded a 158 to finish in fourth place overall. Lizi was in 2nd place after firing a season-best 77 in the first round, before finishing with an 81 in the 2nd round.
Tech conclude their season this coming weekend, April 17-18, at the Gulf South Conference Championships at the Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
