STIRLING TAKE BIG FOURSOMES LEAD IN LOSSIE FINAL

At a sunny but brisk and breezy Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth this morning, the top seeds for the 2011 Scottish University Team Championship, Stirling University, squeezed tight-fought victories against their second seeded Aberdonian oponents.
Having defeated the defending champions St Andrews in yesterday's semi-finals, Stirling look on course to regain the trophy they have held for seven of the last ten years, but with the standard of golf being under-par across the board, things could still go either way.
Stirling lead 4 1/2-1/2 with 10 afternoon singles to play.
