REPORT
Danielle McVeigh came from two down to win on the 17th green against Munster stalwart Gillian O’Leary to follow the fine 6 and 5 win by in-form teammate Louise Coffey.
Munsters’ Emma O’Driscoll and Chloe Ryan were equally impressive over the links and kept the Munster hopes alive with wins against Paula Grant and Victoria Bradshaw respectively.
News broke that Lucy Simpson was dormie three and with Ulster guaranteed at least a half from her match against Sinead Sexton, Ulster completed their feat of back to back wins.
Sarah Helly continued her impressive form for Connacht and led her team to a well deserved victory with a two-hole win against Irish champion Mary Dowling. Connacht gave Ulster a scare in the semi final yesterday and certainly proved their worth today against a fancied Leinster team.
With a good mixture of youth and experience the side can hopefully build and look forward to success in the future.
