NEW EVENT FOR DADS AND DAUGHTERS AT TADMARTON HEATH
NEWS RELEASE
Golfing fathers and daughters are being sought for a new, national competition being launched this autumn.
The 27-hole foursomes medal will take place at Tadmarton Heath in Oxfordshire on Saturday, September 3.
Among the early entrants are Welsh international Katherine O’Connor and her father Arthur, who will be hoping to take advantage of local knowledge since both are members at Tadmarton.
“I think it is a great idea and I am really looking forward to playing with my dad,” said Katherine, pictured left, the current Oxfordshire county champion.
“The Mothers and Daughters event is quite a famous national competition and it would be nice to think that this event would become equally as popular.”
The competition is open to fathers and daughters of any age with active CONGU handicaps.
Entry forms can be downloaded from the Tadmarton Heath website at www.tadmartongolf.co.uk. The closing date is July 16.
