FIFE WOMEN'S GOLF FINAL POSTPONED UNTIL JULY AT DRUMOIG

The Fife women's county golf championship final between Louise Kenney (Pitreavie) and Lorna Bennett (Ladybank) has been rearranged for Drumoig on Saturday, July 16 - the first available date when both players are free from other commitments. The final will tee off at 8.52am on that date.
First round and quarter-final matches, in which Louise beat the top seed, Susan Jackson (Ladybank), were played on Saturday but heavy overnight rain put Sunday morning's semi-finals in doubt.
Despite more heavy rain, the semi-finals were completed with Kenney beating Dorothy Ford (Scotscraig) 3 and 2 and Bennett beating Rachel Hanlon (St Regulus) 5 and 4.
Another heavy rainfall in the early afternoon flooded the greens and resulted in the decision to postpone the final until July 16.
