STIRLING AND CLACKMANNAN TOP SEED BEATEN IN FIRST ROUND

Top seed Linda Allan, playing over her home course, was beaten by the 16th qualifier, Mhairi Hall (Bathgate) in today's first round of the Stirling and Clackmannan women's county golf championship at Falkirk Tryst Golf Club. Linda was never behind until she bogeyed the last three holes to lose by one hole. The quarter-finals will be played on Monday at 5pm.
