TEGAN EQUALLED TURRIFF RECORD WITH HER 69 ON SUNDAY

Tegan Seivwright's round of two-under-par 69 to win Sunday's Aberdeenshire girls' medal at Turriff equalled the women's course record set a number of years ago by Jill Harrison (Cruden Bay). Tegan's figures were: OUT: 4 4 4 3 4 4 6 4 4 - 37. IN: 3 3 4 4 4 3 3 3 5 - 32 The 15-year-old Deeside Golf Club junior member had birdies at the sixth, 11th, 12th, 15th and 16th. She also had a double bogey 6  at the sevent and a bogey 5 at the last.
