BANCHORY'S BECKY WINS SHIRE GIRLS' HUNTLY COMPETITION
Banchory's Becky Flaherty won today's Aberdeenshire girls' competition at Huntly Golf Club with a scratch round of 75.
Megan Clyne (Deeside) was runner-up with a 77, three ahead of clubmate Sophie Alexander.
Flaherty, who plays off 16, had a net score of 59 over the par 68 course but no competitor can win two prizes, so Jasmine Mackintosh (Hazlehead), playing off 22, won the leading handicap prize with a net 68.
