KATHERINE O'CONNOR WINS BRIDGET JACKSON BOWL AGAIN

Former Welsh international Katherine O'Connor today won the Bridget Jackson Bowl  at Handsworth Golf Club for the second time in three years.

Katherine had rounds of 68 and 70 for a total of 138, winning by five shots from US college circuit player Elizabeth Haycock who shot 73 and 70.

Another Welsh international Amy Boulden did not defend the title, feeling she needed a break after playing in successive weeks in the "British" at Royal Portrush, the winning GB and I team at the Astor Trophy, and last weekend's Vagliano Trophy match against the Continent of Europe at Royal Porthcawl.
