JULIE OTTO TURNS PROFESSIONAL TO PURSUE TUITION CAREER
NEWS RELEASEFollowing a successful amateur playing career and significant involvement in the administration of the game, Julie Otto turns professional to pursue a career in golf tuition.
Having played in five Curtis Cup matches for Great Britain and Ireland against the United States of America, she brings to professional golf and in particular the coaching of the game a wealth of experience.
She retired from the amateur game as the reigning British Champion and as part of the victorious 1996 Curtis Cup team. She followed this by moving into the administration of the game, with the Ladies Golf Union and The R and A.
Julie’s move to professional golf fulfils a further ambition for her career in the game and she is looking forward to the challenges that her new role brings. Julie will be working with Ian Muir, PGA Professional at Elie Sports Club in Fife.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Ian, he is an outstanding PGA Professional. I am looking forward to developing a career in golf tuition and I hope to offer a further dynamic to that already available at Elie.”
In addition to golf tuition, Julie is an accomplished speaker and has significant experience in event management.
