BLAIRGOWRIE'S BRADLEY NEIL BEST FOR SCOTS IN YOUNG MASTERS

Scotland were lying 12th in a field of 25 countries at the end of the first day of the European Young Masters for Under-16s at Royal Balaton Golf Club, Hungary.
Norway and Spain are sharing the lead on the 224 mark. England are joint sixth on 230, the Scots on 242, Ireland joint 13th on 243 and Wales 20th on 250.
Blairgowrie's Bradley Neil top-scored for the Scots quartet with a six-over-par 78 to be joint 12th in the boys' standings.
Ewan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) had a 79 for a share of 18th place.
Clara Young (North Berwick), only 14, and St Andrews' Lauren Whyte (St Regulus) both returns 85s to be joint 28th in the girls' individual standings.
