ENGLAND CALL UP BROGAN TOWNEND FOR GULLANE NATIONALS

NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE ENGLISH WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION
Lancashire’s Brogan Townend has been called up to join England’s team for the Girls’ Home Internationals at Gullane, Scotland, from August 3-5.
Brogan, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, from Pleasington, was a team reserve and replaces Woburn’s Lauren Taylor who has re-scheduled her plans following her victory in the ladies’ British amateur championship.

Lauren’s win has brought her a place in the Ricoh Women’s British Open, at Carnoustie from July 28-31, and an invitation to play in the US women’s amateur championship at Rhode Island Country Club from August 8-14.

The full England team for the girls’ international matches is:

Elizabeth Mallett (Sutton Coldfield Ladies)
