RUNAWAY WINS IN EUROPEAN YOUNG MASTERS' THREE CATEGORIES

The European Young Masters' golf championships for Under-16s all ended in runaway victories at Royal Balaton Golf Club, Hungary today.
Spain won the combined boys and girls team event by 13 shots ... Kenny Subregis (France) won the boys' title by seven shots .... Junior Vagliano Trophy player Harang Lee (Spain), of South Korean extraction, won the girls' category by nine shots.
England (690) finished eighth, Scotland (693) ninth, Wales (715) 14th and Ireland (717) 15th behind Spain (657) in the team event.
Paul McBride (Ireland) was the highest placed finisher from the four home countries in joint sixth place with rounds of 78, 77 and 71 for 226 - 10 shots behind winner Subregis.
Ewan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) finished joint 10th with scores of 79, 73 and 75 for 227.
Robert Burlison (England) came 14th on 228 with rounds of 82, 71 and 75.
Blairgowrie's Bradley Neil scored 78, 79 and 74 for a share of 17th place on 231.
Otto Mand (Wales) finished 23rd on 234 with scores of 86, 74 and 74.
England's Nick Ward finished joint 28th on 240 with scores of 75, 84 and 81.
Ireland's Luke Woods came 33rd on 243 with scores of 81, 80 and 82.
Wales' Kieran Robinson finished on 249 and 36th place with 87, 83 and 79.
Chloe Williams from Wales was the leading home countries player on 232 - 21 shots behind winner Harang Lee - in the girls' section. She had rounds of 78, 82 and 72 for joint 12th place.
England's Amber Ratcliffe (Royal Cromer) scored 79, 77 and 77 for a share of 15th place on 233.
North Berwick's 14-year-old Clara Young, East Lothian's youngest ever women's county championship. came joint 19th on 236 with 85, 76 and 75.
St Andrews' Lauren White (St Regulus) finished on 241 with scores of 85, 78 and 78 for 252.
Olivia Mehaffey (Ireland) finished joint 35th on 251 with rounds of 84, 83 and 84.
Hannah Henderson (Ireland) and Lottie Turner (Wales) tied for 38th place on 254, Hannah scoring 88, 85 and 81, Lottie 87, 84 and 83.
