Well done Gillian O'Leary on winning the Cork Scratch Cup!

Congratulations to Gillian O'Leary - a good friend of Kirkwoodgolf - on claiming the  first home scratch cup title of her career with a 36 hole total of five under par at the Cork Scratch Cup, sponsored by FORD at the weekend.

Ennis' Sarah Cunningham posted an opening round of three under par to lead by two from O'Leary at the halfway mark but a closing round of 70 saw Gillian finish with a total of 143, six shots ahead of nearest challengers Karen O'Neill (Douglas) and Emma O'Driscoll (Ballybunion).
