Still time for Dads and Daughters to enter Tadmarton Heath event
The closing date for entries for a national Fathers and Daughters competition, to be staged in the autumn, has been extended until August 20. More than 60 players have entered the inaugural event at Tadmarton Heath Golf Club in Oxfordshire on Saturday, September 3 but the club has room for a few more.
“I am very pleased with the response so far,” said organiser Barbara Round. “We thought we would extend the deadline to give people more time to enter. When you launch a new competition like this it can take a while for word to get around.”
The 27-hole foursomes medal is open to fathers and daughters of any age with active CONGU handicaps. Entry forms can be downloaded from the Tadmarton Heath website at www.tadmartongolf.co.uk
