THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME IN SCOTTISH WOMEN'S FOURSOMES

Home course advantage was decisive for six of the eight winning clubs in the fourth round of the Scottish women's club match-play foursomes. Defending champions Carnoustie Caledonia, represented by Claire Penman and Frances Millar, and Bridge of Allan were the only teams to buck the trend and win on the road.
Carnoustie Caledonia won by 2 and 1 away to Crail Golfing Society while Bridge of Allan won at the 21st at Linlithgow.

Crichton bt Craigmillar Park at 19th.
Dirleton Castle Ladies bt North Berwick 2 and 1.
Dunkeld and Birnam bt Muir of Ord 5 and 4.
Edzell Ladies bt Aberdeen Ladies 4 and 3.
Kilmarnock Barassie bt Whitecraigs 2 and 1.
Linlithgow lost to Bridge of Allan at 21st.
Mount Ellen bt Douglas Park 2 holes.

The semi-finals, final and third-place play-off will be staged on Sunday, August 28 at Glenbervie Golf Club which on the same day will host te Scottish women's foursomes stroke-play championship.
