CRUDEN BAY WIN LYON FOURSOMES FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 1999

Cruden Bay 1 beat Deeside by 13 holes in the final of the Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf Association's Lyon Foursomes inter-club team match-play tournament on a wet day at Cruden Bay. Cruden Bay last won the trophy in 1999.
Cruden Bay's lead-off pairing of Jill Harrison and Susan Phillips beat Susie Macleod and Tegan Seivwright by nine holes. The host club's second pair, Evelyn Cruickshank and Christine Middleton, finished four up on Deeside's Fiona Hay and Margaret Parkinson.
Evelyn Cruickshank was presented with a Lyon Brooch as a first time winning team members in the Lyon Foursomes.

Deeside beat Aberdeen Ladies by three  holesTegan Seivwright and Susie MacLeod halved with Ellie Whyte and Sheena Wood.
Fiona Hay and Margaret Parkinson beat Fiona Seedhouse and Anne Henderson by three holes

Cruden Bay 1 beat Cruden Bay 2 by five holes
Jill Harrison and Susan Phillips beat Ros Dunsmuir and Kathleen Esslemont by three holes
Evelyn Cruickshank and Christine Middleton beat Karen Stalker and Mary Miller by two holes
