HEATHER ONLY SCOT STILL STANDING IN LETAS LADIES OPEN

Heather MacRae (Gleneagles Hotel) was the only Scot to survive the 36-hole cut in the LETAS Ladies Open tournament at Hazlemere Golf Club, Buckinghamshire today.
Heather slipped down to joint 19th position after following up her first-round par 70 with a 77 for 147. She bogeyed eight of the last 12 holes but made the cut with a shot to spare.
Not so lucky were Carrick on Loch Lomond's Clare Queen (74 for 150), Ayrshire's Pamela Feggans (79 for 150), Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll (80 for 151) and Glasgow's Gemma Webster (82-157).
Clare needed a par at the last to make the cut on the limit mark of 148 but she double-bogeyed the hole.
Henrietta Zuel, 21, who won the British girls' title as Henrietta Brockway in 2007, leads the field by three shots after rounds of 65 and 70 for five-under-par 135.
Ashleigh Simon (South Africa) is her nearest challenger with rounds of 68 and 70 for 138.
