JORDANA GRAHAM WINS TWO CHAMPIONSHIPS IN ONE DAY
The Final of the Dumfriesshire Championship was played at Dumfries and County Golf Club in pretty wet conditions.
Jordana Graham became the new champion, beating Helen Kerr 7 and 6 over 18 holes.
The handicap winner was Linda Jack who beat Fiona Irvine 2 and 1. Jordana then went on to play in the Dumfries and Galloway club championship in the afternoon and beat Trish Lilly 6 and 5 - a good day for Jordana, winning two championships in one day.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Thanks to Aileen Hunter for correcting the original story that said Joranda had won two COUNTY championships - an impossibility because a player can only be a member of one.
