MURCAR'S CAROL AND MOLLY WIN ABERDEENSHIRE LADY-GIRL
Murcar Links' county team player Carol Wilson and teenager Molly Stewart won Sunday's Aberdeenshire Lady-girl foursomes tournament at windswept and chilly Banchory Golf Club.
Carol (pictured right) and Molly (pictured below) returned a scratch 82 to finish five shots ahead of Hazlehead's Claire Prouse and Jasmine Mackintosh.
Wilson and Stewart also had the best net score of 75 off seven (half their combined handicap) but the rules debar anyone winning two prizes so the top handicap award went to Helen Edon and Becky Flaherty (Banchory) with a net 80 off 93.
