Eighteen girls competed in the West Kilbride Girls Open played yesterday on a dry, breezy afternoon where the CSS went up to 76 against a SSS of 73.
The Scratch prize and winner of the Nancy Chisholm Trophy went to Emma Hale (Troon Ladies) with a 78.

Rachel Irvine won the Kandy Bar Cup for the best nett score.

Lauren Gilbert (Largs) swept aside the rest of the field on her way to winning the St. Nicholas Trophy last week. Her nett 59 playing off 23 was undoubtedly 13 year old Lauren's best round to date and has now taken her handicap down to 18, and having started the season at 33 is no mean feat. Results are as follows:-
