AMI STOREY MAKES TOP 20 IN SUNFLOWER INVITATIONAL

Ami Storey (Kansas State University), pictured above, from Ponteland in North-east England finished joint 15th in a field of 68 for the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational women's college tournament over three rounds at Colbert Hills Golf Club, Manhattan, Kansas.
Over a par-72 course of 6,181yd, Ami had rounds of 76, 76 and 78 for a total of 230 - 13 shots behind the winner by one, Malin Lundberg (University of Arkansas-Little Rock), with rounds of 70, 70 and 77 for one-over-par 217.

Emma Clegg (Missouri State University), pictured left, from Clitheroe, Lancashire, finished joint 27th on 234, made up of rounds of 76, 81 and 77.

Anna Carling (Arkansas State University), pictured right, from Vale of Glamorgan shared 50th place on 243 with scores of 78, 80 and 85.

Arkansas-Little Rock (891) won the team event ahead of Kansas State (895), Missouri State (907), Oral Roberts (911) and Kansas (921) in a field of 12 teams.
