Chris Lamb, playing over his home course of Newmachar, and Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne) this afternoon became the Paul Lawrie Foundation boys' and girls' individual champions over the Hawkshill course, Aberdeenshire.
Lamb beat Lewis Mutch (Duff House Royal) by 2 and 1 in the boys' final after being one up at the turn and three after up 13 holes.
Schoolgirl international Beveridge, 16, who won the Aberdeenshire girls' title the previous weekend, beat Sophie Alexander (Deeside) by 5 and 4 in the girls' final after losing the first hole and never looking back after birdieing the second to draw level.
The PLF pro-am at the same venue was won by the team of Liam Allan, Michael Paterson and Greg Carrell who had Newburgh-on-Ythan's Ian Bratton as their pro. They had a 14-under-par net total of 130.

GIRLS - Semi-finals - Sophie Alexander (Deeside) bt Kirsten Pryde (Deeside) 3 and 2, Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne) bt Tegan Seivwright (Deeside) 5 and 4.
Final - Beveridge bt Alexander 5 and 4.
3rd place play-off - Seivwright bt Pryde 2 holes.
