Deeside was in very good shape today, despite the wet conditions and Newmachar's Chris Lamb made the most of the calm conditions with a fantastic two under 68.
Chris, pictured right, winner of last weekend's Paul Lawrie Foundation boys' championship at Newmachar, had six birdies during the round - at 3, 6, 9, 12, 13 and 18.
Sam Kiloh (Portlethen) was runner-up, three shots back with a 71.
