CHRIS LAMB WINS PAUL LAWRIE JUNIOR OPEN AT DEESIDE

Deeside was in very good shape today, despite the wet conditions and Newmachar's Chris Lamb made the most of the calm conditions with a fantastic two under 68.

Chris, pictured right, winner of last weekend's Paul Lawrie Foundation boys' championship at Newmachar, had six birdies during the round - at 3, 6, 9, 12, 13 and 18.
Sam Kiloh (Portlethen) was runner-up, three shots back with a 71.

Greg Morrison (Northern) won the handicap event with a net 67 off six.
