Megan Clyne from Aberdeen, a freshman student at Montevallo University, Alabama, finished joint third in the Montevallo Intercollegiate over the Timberline, Calera golf course which is "home" for the Montevallo student golfers.
Megan, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, a member of Deeside Golf Club, had rounds of 76 and 81 for a total of 157 over the par-71, 5801yd course, which suggests the weather had pushed the scores up a bit.
It was her highest finish since she made the move from Scotland in late August.
Montevallo team-mate Ashley Beck won the individual honours with a 10-over-par total of 152 (75-77), winning by two shots from the first-round leader, Jennnifer Brueshaber (Columbus State) who scored 73-81 for 154.
Another Montevallo student, senior Emma Breen from Swindon finished T9 in a field of 24 players with scores of 80 and 84 for 164
Columbus State (635) held Montevallo (638) at bay to win the team title ahead of third-placed North Georgia (663) and Christian Brothers University (754)
