SCOTT LAMBERT JT FOURTH AND IN WINNING TEAM IN GEORGIA

University of North Carolina-Pembroke student Scott Lambert, pictured right, from Matfen Hall Golf Club in North-east England finished joint fourth in a field of 48 players in the Laker Collegiate Invitational which finished on Tuesday at Crystal Lake Golf and Country club, Hampton in Georgia.
Over a long par-72 course (7,202yd), Scott had steady rounds of 73-71-73 for one-over-par 217. He finished seven shots behind the winner, UNC-Pembroke team-mate Jordan Walor who shot 69-73-68 for six-under 210 to win by four shots.
UNC-Pembroke also won the team event by a massive 16 shots.
Two Scots, students at Clayton State University, Atlanta, finished inside the top 30.
Chris McManus from Bearsden finished T23 on 228 with scores of 77-75-76.
Clark Nelson, a transfer to Clayton State from Stirling University, finished T26 with scores of 73-78-78.
Clayton State finished eighth of nine in the team event.
