JODI MAKES GOOD START AT LPGA Q SCHOOL

United States-based former Curtis Cup player Jodi Ewart, from Catterick, Yorkshire, made a solid start to the LPGA Tour Final Qualifying School over two courses at LPGA International, Daytona Beach, Florida.

Over the Champions Course, Jodi shot a two-under-par 70 to be in joint fifth place behind the first-round leader Christine Song who had a six-under 66 over the same course.

The only other English-born player in the field of 139 players, Anna Scott from Consett, Co Durham, had a 75 over the Legends Course and is T74 overall.
