KIRSTY CONDON TOPS FOR THE HIGHLANDERS OF RADFORD UNIV

DRAPER, Virginia – The Radford women’s golf team wrapped up their fall campaign this past midweek when they competed against Wofford College in a dual match at Draper Valley Golf Club.
The 18-hole event was played on a par-72, 6,069-yard layout. Already nine strokes ahead of school record pace for stroke average (309), the Highlanders shot a 307 on the day.
Paisley-born Kirsty Condon (Lincolnshire), pictured right, was Radford’s top golfer, shooting a one-over 73 and finished in a tie for second place. Paige Reese was one stroke behind at two-over 74 and finished fourth.
Lauren Dunbar of Wofford took home top honours, carding an even-par 72 and was only one stroke in front of Condon.
The Highlanders return to the links on February 26-28 when they compete in the Edwin Watts Kiawah’s Island Invite in Kiawah, South Carolina
