TIFFANY HEWETSON MAKES TOP 20 IN CAL POLY INVITATIONAL

Tiffany Hewetson from Brighton, a student at Grand Canyon University, Arizona, finished T17 in a field of 70 players at the Cal Poly Invitational at Cypress Ridge Golf Club, Arroyo Grande in California.

Over a testing course of 6,088yd with a women's par of 73, Tiffany, pictured right, scored 83 and 78 for 161, finishing 11 shots behind the winner, Mexican Balbina Guajardo (Santa Clara University) who scored 77-73 for four-over-par 150.

Santa Clara (628) also won the team title ahead of CSU-Northridge (636) with Grand Canyon and Cal Poly sharing third place on 638 in a field of 12 teams.
