Entries for the 2012 HDA Ladies Golf Festival taking place at Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort, Murcia, Spain from February 11 to 17 are coming in steadily.
You can read the current entry list and for which events below. However, I know that there are a lot of you who have expressed interest in the event, but have not yet entered, and so I am publishing  this as a reminder in the hope that we can secure more entries to make the 2012 Festival even bigger than in previous years.

FREE PRACTICE ROUND FOR ALL FESTIVAL ENTRANTS.
WELCOME RECEPTION AT THE CLUBHOUSE.

SUNDAY 12th FEBRUARY –
MURCIA OPEN, DAY 1 - 2 DAY, 36 HOLE INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT. - DRAW IN HANDICAP ORDER, IN CATEGORIES.

MONDAY 13th FERUARY
MURCIA OPEN, DAY 2 - FINAL ROUND, SCORE ORDER, IN CATEGORIES. - FOLLOWED BY MURCIA OPEN PRIZE PRESENTATION.

TUESDAY 14th FEBRUARY
REST DAY/OPTIONAL PAIRS COMPETITION - ST. VALENTINE’S FOUR BALL, BETTER BALL, PAIRS (ALONG WITH HDA MEMBERS). - ST VALENTINE’S DINNER/DANCE IN THE EVENING.

WEDNESDAY 15th FEBRUARY
HACIENDA DEL ALAMO OPEN, DAY 1 - 2 DAY, 54-HOLE INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT. - DRAW IN HANDICAP ORDER, IN CATEGORIES.

THURSDAY 16th FEBRUARY
 HACIENDA DEL ALAMO OPEN, DAY 2 - ROUND TWO, DRAW IN SCORE ORDER, IN CATEGORIES.

FRIDAY 17th FEBRUARY
HACIENDA DEL ALAMO OPEN, DAY 3 - FINAL ROUND, SCORE ORDER, IN CATEGORIES. - FOLLOWED BY HDA OPEN PRIZE PRESENTATION.

THE FESTIVAL IS OPEN TO ALL LADY / GIRL GOLFERS. - THE MAXIMUM PLAYING HANDICAP WILL BE 28, AND PROOF OF CURRENT EXACT HANDICAP WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL ENTRANTS.

BOTH THE MURCIA OPEN AND HDA OPEN TOURNAMENTS WILL BE PLAYED IN CATEGORIES.
DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRANTS, THE POSSIBLE CATEGORIES WILL BE:
SENIOR LADIES (over 50 years),
LADIES,
UNDER 18s and 
UNDER 16s.
DEPENDING ON THE ENTRY LEVELS AND RANGE OF HANDICAPS, THERE WILL BE SCRATCH, HANDICAP MEDAL PLAY and STABLEFORD COMPETITIONS, IN ORDER THAT ALL STANDARDS OF PLAYERS CAN COMPETE.

WHAT TO DO ABOUT ENTERING
1. Contact Lee Harrington, Tournament Controller (contact details below) for full itinerary, prices, and entry form.
2. Decide which tournaments you wish to play in (you don’t have to play in them all).
3. Complete and return the entry form. Lee will collate the information and will then get in touch with you to process the official entry form and arrange for payment of Entry Fees.
