FALDO JUNIOR SERIES QUALIFIER TO BE PLAYED AT PANMURE

Panmure Golf Club, Angus will host the Scottish qualifier in the Nick Faldo Junior Series next year. The 36-hole event for boys and girls will be held on August 21 and 22.
The leading players in the respective age and gender categories will go forward to the Grand Final at Lough Erne Golf Resort in Northern Ireland in mid-September.
With the financial support of the R and A, the European Tour and other bodies, the Faldo Series organisers have been able to bring the entry fee down this year from £70 to £55.
The Roxburghe GC, Kelso has staged the Scottish qualifier for the past few years.
Panmure, close to Carnoustie and Monifieth, has been an Open championship qualifying venue. It staged the Ricoh Women's British Open championship final qualifying competition last year. In the past it has hosted the Girls' home internationals' matches.
Andrew Crerar is the club professional.
