CHIEF EXECUTIVE JIM ROBINSON HAS LEFT EWGA
NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE ENGLISH WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION
Following the decision by both the EWGA and EGU to merge from the beginning of January 2012, the two organisations will be managed as one entity from this date.
As a result, the post of CEO of the EWGA will no longer exist and as such Jim Robinson, CEO of EWGA, left the Association on December 31.
Sylvia Perrins, the outgoing Acting Chairman of the EWGA, said: “I am sure that you will want to join me in recognising the huge contribution Jim has made to the EWGA in his period of office and the respect he has earned in the golfing community.
"As the outgoing Acting Chairman I would like to thank Jim for his commitment, hard work and loyalty to the EWGA during this period.”
