GERMANY CALLING

E-mail from Stephen Liddell,
a Scots pro working in Germany

Dear Colin

Many thanks for all your information via the Kirkwoodgolf website.
As a Scottish golf professional, born in Falkirk and a past member of Falkirk Tryst and Bonnybridge, I am now living and working in Germany and find that your internet portal is the best for all ladies golfing info from Scotland - and from the rest of the world in fact!
My daughter Fiona Liddell (pictured right) is 14 years old and has joined Glenbervie Golf Club. She has a current handicap of 3.7. Fiona played in the Scottish U-14s championship at Aberdour last year and finished 11th.
She led the field in the German girls U-14s tournament after 44 holes but then a two-hour thunder and lightning delay cost her dearly as she lost her rhythm and timing and finished 13th! What a pity but great experience!
Her targets for 2012 are to get her handicap down to scratch and to make the Scottish girls team!
