The Scottish Ladies’ Golfing Association is the governing body for ladies’ and girls’ amateur golf in Scotland. Due to the retirement of the current post holder applications are invited for the following position which will be based in Perth.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER / COMPANY SECRETARY
Applicants must be familiar with the structure and organisation of golf in Scotland and have a working knowledge of The Rules of Golf, the Rules of Amateur Status and the CONGU® Unified Handicapping System. They should be self motivated with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. As head of a small team the successful applicant, reporting to the Chairman and Board, will be responsible for managing the administration staff and functions in the SLGA Office including overseeing corporate communications, day to day financial management and event delivery.
Applicants should be fully conversant with Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of a finance related software package would be advantageous as would experience of championship golf. Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential.

Salary, in the range of £35,000 – £39,000, and benefits package will be commensurate with experience.
