HOME RULE AT SPANISH SENIOR LADIES' DOUBLES

CAROL FELL with news of the Spanish Senior Ladies Championship
The second round of the Spanish Seniors "Doubles" was played today at La Manga Golf Club's South Course.
The format yesterday was better-ball and today the format was foursomes. The Spanish pairing of Catalina Castillejo Oriol and Maria Orueta Pemartin had the best round of the day with an 80 to add to their 74 yesterday to be crowned the champions.
Spanish pairings were in the top six positions on the leaderboard.
The scoring was very high in the foursomes - don't know why at this stage,  mind you the South Course is a bit of a tester!

1st: Catalina Castillejo Oriol and Maria Orueta Pemartin 154 (74 80)
2nd: Christina Marsana Arstareco and Maria Castillo Dolagaray 157 (71 86) 3rd: Emy Garzon and Rocio Ruiz de Velasco 158 (73 85).
