JESSICA BRADLEY IS SUNSHINE STATE CONF GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Winter Park, Florida – Lynn University women’s golfer Jessica Bradley has been tabbed the first Sunshine State Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week of 2012.
Bradley, pictured tied for first individually while helping the Fighting Knights claim a team victory at the Tusculum/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at the weekend.
A 19-year-old freshman out of Bishop's Nympton, Devon in England, Bradley opened her spring season by tying for first among 89 golfers. She set personal-bests for lowest round (71) and lowest 36-hole score (144) in tying Armstrong Atlantic’s Kristen Sammarco atop the leaderboard.
Bradley’s performance helped the Blue and Whites win the team title at the 18-team event. The squad posted a school and tournament record 285 in the final round of play while their 19-stroke victory was the largest ever at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate.
Jessica will be 20 on July 14 and she has a sister Amy. Jessica's favourite athlete, according to the Lynn Univesity website is the World No 1 Luke Donald.
Lynn University and Jessica Bradley return to the links on Monday, February 20, when they participate in the Lady Moc Classic at Lakeland, Florida.
