NORTH DEVON'S JESSICA BRADLEY PIPPED FOR FIRST US VICTORY

KIAWAH ISLAND, South Carolina  --- Lynn University established a pair of tournament records on Sunday to win the 10th annual Tusculum College/Kiawah Island Women’s Golf Intercollegiate, held at Cougar Point Golf Club.
The Fighting Knights posted an 18-hole record 285 in the final round, winning the two-day, 36-hole event by 19 strokes over runner-up and defending champions Florida Southern.
In the individual competition, Kristen Sammarco of Armstrong Atlantic University posted a two-under par 70 on Sunday to finish with 144 and tie with Lynn freshman Jessica Bradley from Bishop's Nympton, North Devon.
Jessica scored 73-71 for level par 144 over the 5,876yd course.
Sammarco won top honours via a card play-off, so denying the English girl her maiden victory on the US college circuit.
Irene Calvo of Lynn finished one shot out of the play-off as she fired 145, including a final round 70.  Megan Kiley (Florida Southern) and Thalia Baigorria (Lynn) tied for fourth place with 146, while Tusculum’s Jillian Corum finished sixth with 70-77=147. 
Lizzi Over from Forest Pines, Lincolnshire was placed joint 28th. A second-round 85, 11 shots worse than her first round, dragged her down the final standings.
