ANGUS MEN AND BOYS TOO STRONG FOR ANGUS COUNTY WOMEN

NEWS RELEASE
The Angus County boys'/men's select stormed to a 6-0 win over the Angus Ladies team in the third and final match of their winter series in near perfect conditions at Monifieth today.
In the top match, Connar Cook was in magnificent form, aided by his partner Calum McKay, to put the first points on the board against Jess Meek and Claire Penman.
William Bremner from the men's squad playing sub-par golf and with his young partner Josh McKenna, saw off the challenge of Katie Reid and Ann Ramsay. Junior convenor Alex McKay, who played in the final match, was delighted with the form of his players heading into the new season and along with ladies captain Mary Summers, agreed that the matches have been a great success in allowing both squads of players some additional competitive golf through the winter months.
