FRENCH WOMEN'S DOUBLE WHAMMY AT EURO NATIONS CUP

France scored a double whammy in the women's section of the European Nations Cup amateur tournament at Sotogrande.
Celine Boutier, beaten finalist in last year's British girls championship at Gullane, won the women's individual title by three shots and France won the women's team title by a commanding 14 shots from Germany.
England's leading individual player was Rachel Drummond (310) in joint 14th place, 19 shots behind winner Boutier who shot 73, 75, 72 and 71 for 291.
England totalled 620 in the team event and finished 10th of 11 behind France (581), Germany (595) and joint third Norway and Denmark (604).
