HENDERSON SHARES FIFTH PLACE IN PUERTO RICO I/COLLEGIATE

Neil Henderson from North Berwick, coming up to the end of his fourth year at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, finished joint fifth in a field of 30 players at this week's Carribean Intercollegiate tournament at Costa Caribe Resort, Puerto Rico.
Henderson, pictured, 22-year-old past Scottish schoolboys champion and SGU Junior Champion of Champions winner, had rounds of 70, 73 and 73 for a level par aggregate of 216. He finished six shots behind the winner by two, Pat Wilson (St John's) (69-68-73 for 210).
Henderson's team-mates, Tom Wilde from  Berkshire and Garth McGee from Bangor, near Belfast, finished 19th and 26th respectively.
Wilde scored 73-73-78 for 224; McGee 72-81-81 for 234.
Old Dominion (878) finished joint fourth of six behind winners Rollins College (859) in the team event.

JACK BINGHAM JOINT SECOND AT HILTON HEAD



Jack Bingham from Stockport, Cheshire, a senior student at South Carolina-Beaufort University, tied for second place in a field of 27 for The Members' Invitational over 18 holes at Golf Club @ Indigo Run, Hilton Head, South Carolina
Jack, pictured right, and team-mate Luke McClellan both shot one-over-par 73s to finish three shots behind the winner, Ben Smith (Wittenberg University). He had a fine score of two-under-par 70 over a 6,651yd course.
South Carolina-Beaufort (298) won the team title ahead of Savannah State (307) with Wittenberg (319) third and Covenant College (334) fourth.
